JOLLOF COOL - OFF: GAMBIA BEATS GHANA & NIGERIA.

The Gambia has beaten Nigeria and Ghana to win the Jollof Competition at the West African Food Festival (WAFFEST) in Lagos, Nigeria. Liberian chefs headed by Wonyean Gaye and Femi Joyous Wilson won second place for best jollof rice. "Unfortunately, we lost to The Gambia in the Best Jollof 2023. We will come back stronger next year," said Gaye, who recently had also tried to beat Hilda Baci's record for the longest time spent cooking. Should Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and Cameroon be taking jollof rice lessons from The Gambia?
