CHAIRMAN GAC HON ABUBAKAR JIBRIN GIRI MARK ONE YEAR IN OFFICE; SAYS THE YEAR HOLD GREAT PROSPECTS AND HOPE.

The Executive Chairman Gwagwalada Area council, Hon Abubakar Jibrin Giri has Marked one year in office; says the year holds great prospects and hope for accelerated development of Gwagwalada Area council as his Rescue Administration settles down to pursue its point of policy thrust that will consolidate on its efforts.

"In his one year in office message the council Chairman acknowledges the huge support and cooperation of the people of Gwagwalada since assuming office which he says was demonstrated in 2022 when he was returned to office by massive votes of the electorates.

According to the Chairman, "the year 2023 will be quite eventful as we put behind us the distractions of any challenges and focus on delivering on the dividends of democracy to our people especially in completing the legacy projects we have initiated in all parts of the Council Areas We shall commission many of them and also ensure that others are given the desired priority attention".

He says with the 2023 budget already signed into law, there will be no time to waste as the machinery of government will be kept active to deliver quality, prompt and selfless service to the people.

He charges the people of Gwagwalada to build on the peace already pervading the entire council so as to make it easy for investors to come in with their resources and knowledge to create jobs and other economic opportunities..

Marking the one year of this administration in office, the day therefore gives us the opportunity to appreciate electorates despite the lowlest monthly allocation challenges. While we relish in the successes that we have achieved so far;..
