The Organised Labour has called on Nigerians to reject the new hike price of petrol from N170 Naira per liter to N185 Naira per liter introduced by the Federal Goverment.
The Federal Government officially increased the price of petrol by 8.8 per cent as the ex-depot price also shot up from N148 per liter to N167.
Many filling stations have been selling far above this new price, a situation which may have made the new price almost impracticable.
In a notice to fuel marketers, yesterday, the government directed that the new price should take immedidate effect.
Reacting to the announcement of the petrol hike, Organsied Labour, expressed shock over the increase, describing it aas the last kick of a dying regime.
