THE 2022/2023 NIGERIA PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE SEASON STARTS IN 2 MONTHS TIME

The Nigeria Professional Football League campaign for the 2022/2023 season has tentatively been scheduled to begin on 23 September 2022 across the federation reports Prime Business Africa.

The NPFL is Nigeria’s version of the Premier leagues across Europe with Rivers United recently emerging the champions after 38 league games – the first in their history.

The NPFL is administered by the League Management Committee (LMC).

According to a release Saturday evening by the LMC, all games are billed to hold on weekends so as to accommodate inter-continental fixtures and Cup competitions in midweeks.

The NPFL general assembly of the LMC and club owners will hold on September 16 just before the season commences.
